My son had an addiction problem, starting over 12 years ago. He had gone through "Rehab" programs over 7 times, they do not work. In the end he started using heroin, for over 1 1/2 years on the drug he repeatedly went to a "Rehab" 3 times; came out and used, went to a sober house; left because they wanted him to detox with no medication at all; severely sick.
