Still Opiate Free - 18 Months Later

I hope that all is well with you as you read this.

I am proud and quite frankly surprised to report that I am still alcohol and opiate free 18 months after the detox procedure and naltrexone implant.

While life has presented me with many opportunities for relapse, I am continually shocked and amazed that not only have I not relapsed with any chemical, but I am also not in a constant struggle with cravings to numb out from the difficulties I have experienced this year. This shocks me continually. When I think about it, I still can not believe that I am not afflicted with cravings. I could not have imagined the freedom that I have experienced in these 18 months. I continue to take naltrexone daily and am convinced that it is the reason for my sobriety. I thought you would be interested in hearing about this because much of the credit for my getting to the center goes to you. Your care and genuine dedication to the people behind the addictions makes a difference. It changed my life forever.
