Just wanted to send you a short note to tell you how great everything is going. The first few months were a bit tough. No urges at all for the vicoden (still don't). But had some depression etc and for the life of me could not sleep.

Well, all that changed about a month ago. Things are back to the way I remember them to be some 10 to 12 years ago. I can think straight, have more ambition than I've had in years and I just seem so much more content with my life. How strange it is that I felt I needed the drugs to cope. Now I know that it was the drugs that made my life unmanageable. It's been 3 months now and I am so glad that I found ya'll. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. But I guess I had to be mentally ready for it.

I know I've said this before, but I still can't believe that I have absolutely NO CRAVINGS. I mean, prior to the detox, if someone mentioned the word vicodin from a mile away, I would have heard it. I knew it would detox away the withdrawals, but had no idea it would also remove all urges/cravings. Amazing!

Well, that's about it. Just wanted to check in with you and say thanks again. Oh, one more thing. I keep reading some other web sites (Drugs.com) that say really bad things about this procedure. What a shame that it has developed such a stigma. This one guy on the site promotes Suboxone all the time.
